Whether you are looking for your favorite author or some new authors, this is for you. This site offers website design, internet marketing, publicity and research services for authors and publishers. It offers homepage photos of websites designed and just launched for authors. It also lists what forms of social networking are available for each author. If you click on the homepage picture, it will lead you to the author's official website.
Author Yellow Pages:
This site is exactly as it sounds. You can search for any author and it will give you links to their official websites and publishers' websites. There are also author newsletters and sharing of fan and press mentions. One can find monthly featured websites and top author searches, too.
I could see where these sites could be valuable to my profession because it allows a librarian to stay on top of current trends and events with authors, as well as ways to link directly to an author, such as websites that can be shared with patrons. For fun, I searched for Lemony Snicket and came up with quite a number of links. I am definitely going to add these to my 'favs' list.
